About the album.
Infinite Love is a culmination of 2 years of development, writing and recording. The fresh blend of music is what Mira affectionately likes to call “indo-funk-soul”. Her music is about the dynamic of relationship and the transparency of emotional authenticity. This sound is a conflation of her mixed upbringing, cultural, spiritual and politically progressive roots. Songs like “Love Yourself” and “Sweetest Thing” speak to every person to move deeper into themselves. Mira sees the connectedness of human interaction and writes about it. In her own words, Mira says,” music is not about race, color or religion, it’s about you, it’s about me. It’s about what brings your heart closer to mine.”

Having spent the last year promoting her album in Europe, Mira is now focused on writing. Working with legends like George Brown from Kool and the Gang, as well as various other award winning producers, Mira is excited about the next album. “Me and George are working on a few songs right now…just playing around with different ideas, focused on trying to build a authentic hybrid sound…something fresh and new…” says Mira.

About the Band.
Band members, Ean, Enrique and John are not newcomers to the world of live audiences, excessive traveling and grueling schedules either. All have traveled around from east to west and back again. Seasoned guitarist, Ean Corbet’s musical career has taken him all over the world, from Ireland to Africa to England and the USA. He has opened for the B-52s, and recorded and performed with George Webley. Jazz influenced- bassist, John Simons gives a fullness through his strumming. Reaching large audiences has never been a problem for John who recorded for Austin, Texas radio station KLBJ’s “Local Licks Live” CD and performed with the Colorado Springs Community Jazz Big Band. Too ad some spice to the mix, Jazz flamenco and contemporary, alternative drummer Enrique Platas infuses a uniqueness in sound and style. He was signed to Sony Music Mexico in Mexico and currently plays with a wide range of bands, perfecting each style eloquently. For this private members only Grammy celebration, Mira and her band mates are sure to give the intense dynamic energy of a packed stadium.

Admission to the event is free for Recording Academy members plus one guest. Non-members must pay a $40.00 fee. For more information about the show you can contact Meena at 415 533 0551 or grammy.com For more info. about Mira visit her website at MirasMusic.com
